About Me

About Me

My name is Sam and I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist. I obtained my qualification through PCI College in Dublin and I was awarded my degree, BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University in London. I work with a wide range of issues such as anxiety & depression, suicide ideation, low self-esteem, self-care & personal development. I have a particular interest, knowledge and understanding of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), trauma and PTSD within the field of emergency service personnel.

I provide a warm and welcoming safe space where my clients feel confident to share their issues or problems in a non-judgemental environment. I am based in Malahide, which is only a very short distance from a number of close by towns, such as Swords, Donabate, Portmarnock. My approach to therapy is an integrative one, with a focus on Humanistic, Psychoanalytical and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Every client has their own unique issues or individual problems, hence why my business is called “Fingerprint Therapy”.

Once clients feel more comfortable being themselves within the therapeutic setting, their goals of growth, change and development begin to emerge. I am passionate about the field of counselling & psychotherapy, and I have been extremely lucky and fortunate to have witnessed the progress and positive change that previous clients have made after developing a successful therapeutic alliance.

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." - Viktor E. Frankl
